my double 2 celebration has been a simple one :)


family had mine celebrated 1 day before the actual at crystal Jade.
and happiee to say, this yr i have edna celebrating tgt with us !
last yr was Just xavier alone,
and it seems that every yr, its getting more n more merrier !

cake cutting after we finished our dinner.
and sisters bought me this peach cake !
i love it *dang* thou its a bit too sweet :)

and thru out the dinner, captured quite a number of photos
not on me, but on xavier and edna ! hahas


look, big boy nw :)
no longer need to wean on milk bottles.
he loves eating bread nw, cheeries, cucumber, papaya etc
and whatever is served on the table, he wanna have a mouth of it !
and our big boy drinks his milk frm straw :)
clever !


and half way thru the dinner when he hears Edna's Cries from the stoller
see what's his reaction !


he will turn to the stroller which is next to him,
and lift up to see what happened ! hahas :D
damn cute lahh he !


and after a few times of lifting up, i think he is abit annoyed by her cries
and he actually closed the shutter by pulling it down -.-
his actions really made us break into laughters !
hiakhiakkk !

And here comes lil edna :)


i realised she loves to stick her tongue out
or perhaps, she is just hungry !

and guess where did i spent my birthday ?

babyy bought me to Jurong bird park and yes, no doubts,
Jurong bird park :)



been ages since we last came.
and seriously, we totally have zero recollection of this place !
sis claimed there's nth much to see whilst tracy commented its quite fun.
and well, been there done it and i think.
its pretty fun !



upon entering ...
beautiful pelicans welcomed us !
Very nice creatures i would said, i love their beak !


and these two pelis were paddling up and down to let us take photos !
and Just nice,
we happened to get the chance to see them getting fed by the bird park keeper !


look at their mouth when they opened up !
babyy and i just go : woahhh ~
and it even amazed us when they spread out their wings :)

and the black bird on top, i gt no idea what bird it is.
but its rather a funnie bird i would said, hahas
cuz it just stood dere and flapped its wings non stop !

headed to the world of darkness and we get to see different breeds of owls.
due to the complete darkness inside, caca is unable to take any photos :(
didnt want to on any flashes as i scare it might harm the owls' eyes !
but still, its really an eye opening in there !

next stop was at the scarlet ibis !


this beautiful red birdies are the cutest ones that we came acrossed !
they actually walked in one big flocks.
and whichever directions they walked, its totally the same !
if one turn left, the rest will turn left too !
and it happens veryy fast !
totally remind me of the ICE AGE 3. whahahaha xD



and yay !
the black bird tt i mentioned earlier on at the front part of my post.
i still dunno what bird is this, whahahah

proceeded to the hornbills & toucans corner !
and yeahh, we get to see different kinds of hornbills in there :)
but sadly to say, they are all enclosed in this verii small cage
sigh*


Lory Loft !
my favourite spot in the bird park :)
buy a bowl of lories and feed the birds inside with it !
they will come flying to u and land wherever they feels like :D


and wherever we we walked, they come flying to us :)
extremely harmless and friendly, i told babyy i wanna buy some and keep them !
hahahas :D

and the lory loft looks ilke the big bird cage seen in jurrasic park.

or rather, the moment we stepped into the bird park, we already felt as thou
we are in jurrasic park ~!
LMAO


look, we really enjoyed ourselves over here !
it just feel so nice to feed the lil ones flying around =)


and the best thing is, u can try attempting to touch their heads
but i can tell u , they act faster den u !
the moment u move ur hand, they move their head and bodies !

but nevertheless, i managed to knock one of the red bird head, whahahah !!


rested our feets at the cafe in lory loft before con't the rest of our journey.


and taduuh. we arrived at ...

the world's fastest bird !
Ostrich !

its super friendly, came walking towards us and pop the head out, hahas
and it even allowed us to take photo tgt with itself !
and i suspected this ostrich is a male !
because ....

he looked uninterested when babyy take a photo with him !
and when its my turn, he turned and look at the cammy !

babyy and i with the colourful parrots.
its surprising, they didnt attempt to fly away even thou they were left in the open.
or, parrots dunno how to fly ?

look at all of the flamingoes, they really look fabulous !
and carefree ...
sometimes i wish i am a birdie, at least i got no worries.
hehehe


headed down to the ampitheatre to catch the birds & buddies show !
Nice one !
Love the host and the programmes lined up for the show.
u will be surprised, how obidient these birds can be.
even for vultures, they obey the instrcutions according.


and walkin down further after the shows,
we saw more pelicans kind of birds.


and the duck on the above pictures remind me of the duck
we used to keep at aut's place !
from a duckling to a duck this big !
and we kept it in the bathroom back den, hehehe !



and eventually we arrived at the 2nd last stop of the map.

and last but not least, the penguines expediture !


babyy and i had a nice tyme in there !
and we love it for the fact of having a full blast air con inside !
WHAHAHAH
its was effing hot and we were sweating like mad before that.
and over here, we had fun playing with the penguins !
one fo them followed in the direction wherever babyy walks
i think it might be due to lack of play mates, and the penguine just regrad babyy as one.
hahahas

it was fun heading down to the bird park.
thou it can be freaking hot thru out the whole journey.
never take the monorail, cause its a waste of money !
at least we are smart enough to make full use of our legs.
cause, u see nth when u are on the monorail.
at least by walking, u can stop and check out the wonderful stuffs tat comes along ur way !

and bring ur own water bottles !
the prices there is high enough to slash our throat -.-"
and stupid bonger burgers, freaking ex.
12.90 for a set of burgers ! w/o drinks somemore luh !


and go early ! u need at least 5 - 6 hours to see everything :)

headed back home in the evening to wash up.
and caca eventually fall asleep and took a short nap before darling woke me up.
headed down to bugis to get my levis' belt :)
and i totally love it to the core !
